Important information for travelers by the Department of State due to the Coronavirus outbreak
The US Department of State announced last Thursday important information for travelers due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Disease. Since this is a relevant subject everywhere around the world, we have decided to share with you some of the recommendations the DOS has communicated if you are traveling.
1. Reconsider traveling abroad
Due to the global impact of COVID-19, avoid traveling abroad if possible. Many areas throughout the world are taking actions that could impact travelers’ mobility, such as quarantines and border restrictions.
2. Keep your environment safe
To prevent the spread of the COVID-19, many countries are implementing screening procedures. In addition, you should also practice good hygiene to prevent getting sick. Be careful with meetings and travel and handle food carefully. In case you are feeling sick, stay home.
